~From Lies to Promises cover reveal~

Title: From Lies to Promises
Author: Faith S. Lynn
Genre: New Adult
Publication Date: January 2014

With a past buried and left behind, Katrina changes her last name on a search for a normal life. But what is normal, really?

Three years, two amazing friends, and a new future, she thinks she has finally secured it. That was until Ryder. With him she was able to forget her fears completely, to feel more normal than she ever has.

But when her past comes crashing into her present, will he think her past is all lies, and abandon her like everyone else that she thought loved her did. Or will his promises bring her above the dark that surrounds her life.

I am a New Adult author. From Lies to Promises is my debut novel! I am wife to the best husband of the freaking universe and mother to 3 majorly awesome kids! Reading, Xbox, cooking and WINE just barely scrape the surface of who I am. Everyone who knows me will say I am a nerd... and I would agree. Want to know a secret? I am a super hero. True story!

I have an obsession with anything people consider odd and I think learning is the bees knees. I have an Associates degree in Business Management and was an accountant for 7 years. I know, boooring! But I like having a problem and seeing a solution.

Maybe, just maybe, this is why I enjoy writing so much!

12/23—Molly McAdams Pretender #8

Favorite food?

Lobster

Favorite color?

Emerald green

Favorite band and / or favorite song?

I love classic rock, and it's super hard to pick out one band, forget one song, so I'll go with my current favorite: Imagine Dragons.

How do you come up with your book ideas?

Usually a character just pops into my head and starts telling me a story, but sometimes it's a song lyric, or something I overhear someone say, or a line from a TV show or movie.

What’s the best prank you’ve ever played on someone?

Me and my high school lab partner in chemistry went out of our way to blow stuff up, so we broke a lot of beakers and test tubes over the course of the year. Our teacher gave us a bill at the end of the year for something like forty bucks...so we brought it all in loose pennies and dumped them on her desk.

What’s your fascination with cops and detectives?

There is just something innately alpha about them. They don't take any crap, and there are lines that they can never cross.

What’s the thing you love most about Needing Her?

Getting to revisit some of my favorite characters and give them the happy ending they deserve.

Needing Her:

A fabulous, fun, and sexy New Adult novella from New York Times bestselling author Molly McAdams. If you loved Connor in From Ashes, this is the story for you.

She's the girl next door

Maci Price isn't really into relationships. Having four very protective older brothers has always made having a boyfriend very difficult anyway. But her friend is set on finding her the right guy—and thinks the mysterious Connor Green is the perfect pick.

He's her brother's best friend

Connor Green is trying to find himself again. He loved, then lost, and it's time for him to pick up the pieces. His brooding is making his friends crazy, but Maci, who has grown up into a gorgeous and incredibly sexy woman, is about to break the spell.

They're made for each other

When Maci starts up old pranks to get Connor out of his slump, an all-out war leads to a night that will break all their rules … and a relationship they must keep hidden. Together they're electric. Apart they're safe. And soon they'll each find that they're exactly what the other needs.

Title: Blood on the Tongue: A Cooper & Fry Mystery (Ben Cooper & Diane Fry #3)
Author: Stephen Booth
Genre: Mystery
Publication Date: December 3, 2013
Publisher: Witness Impulse, an Imprint of HarperCollins
Event organized by: Literati Author Services, Inc.

Synopsis
It’s a new year for Ben Cooper and Diane Fry, and that means new mysteries to solve in the icy depths of a bitter winter.
It isn’t the easiest way to commit suicide, but the dead woman seems to have simply curled up in the freezing snow and lay there until her heart stopped. There was no one to observe her death but the foxes and the hares. Yet she is riddled with bruises. Her death is horrifying -- is it also suspicious?
When two more dead bodies are found, Cooper and Fry begin to wonder if these tragedies are connected, and whether they will survive the winter…
